Expert Help with your Attendance Allowance Claim
Are you entitled to claim
Attendance Allowance?
Are you at least 66 years old?
Attendance Allowance is a benefit for those with a disability or condition who require additional support or supervision to perform day-to-day activities.
It is not means-tested, it is tax-free, and could provide up to
£5,950 a year to pay for anything that will make life easier.
At Oakfield, we want to help individuals receive this financial assistance to which they are entitled so they can maintain their independence, pay for additional support where needed, and improve their daily lives.
Do you need help with your personal care, or require supervision to keep you safe?
We can complete and submit your Attendance Allowance form for you, saving you time and significantly increasing the chance that your claim will be approved.
We only charge if your Attendance Allowance claim is successful.
Our clients believe that using our services not only increases the chance that their claim will be approved but that our £300 fee - which is only payable when their claim is accepted by the DWP - more than covers the income they would lose if they were rejected and had to reapply.
How we can help
To claim Attendance Allowance you must submit a claim form to the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP). The form is over 30 pages long. It is complex and time consuming, and many are unsure of how much or even what type of information to include. Many give up. Of those who do apply on their own, only 40% of claims are successful.
The DWP takes on average 6-12 weeks to process forms, and if your application is unsuccessful, you may need to wait a further 6 months before you can reapply, potentially losing hundreds of pounds in support because you have not documented your additional needs accurately.
At Oakfield, we have a 100% success rate of Attendance Allowance claims that we submit on behalf of our clients being approved by the DWP.
We are specially trained in completing Attendance Allowance forms, ensuring clients' needs are accurately reflected. We have in-depth experience, detailed knowledge and a calm and compassionate approach.
Our services
We offer a three-step service
Eligibility Assessment
When you contact us, we will ask a few questions about your health and ability to perform day-to-day activities to help us establish if you would be eligible to claim Attendance Allowance.
Our fee is only payable once your claim has been approved by the DWP
Form Completion
If you meet the criteria and wish to engage us to complete the application for you, we will arrange a time for a more in-depth discussion to ensure we have all the information we need to fully document your day-to-day needs.
Submission to the DWP
When we have completed the form, we will ask you to approve and sign it. Once you are happy, we will submit it to the DWP.
Oakfield Attendance Services was founded by long-time friends Julia and Caroline
About us
With a background as a care advisor, Julia has talked to hundreds of clients about how to best meet their own or their family member's care and support needs. She fully understands the concerns and sensitivities that people may experience when discussing what can be an emotional issue. Clients often comment on Julia's sympathetic and caring approach, and her clear and concise explanations.
She is keen to assist those who are eligible to receive Attendance Allowance to help make their and their family's life a little easier - whether this is by paying for a taxi, renting a mobility scooter, arranging some pop-in care visits or engaging someone to walk the dog!
Throughout her career, Caroline has helped businesses and organisations navigate the complexities of completing applications to various government bodies. She has worked with large multi-national organisations and individuals, advising on and submitting applications to the Home Office. More recently, she has been involved in education, preparing applications for SEND children.
Caroline became involved in working with Attendance Allowance applications when her parents required additional help. They were both approved to receive the allowance at the higher rate. It became clear to her that this was a little known benefit, which many would qualify for if only they understood how to reflect their needs accurately.
